Thanks for your comment, while I do believe this place to be very high in activity I don’t think this picture is real. There are too many flaws in the photo, as you can see by some of the other comments it appears that this may be someone’s attempt at a hoax using photoshop or other similar photo editing software. If you have other experiences about the area please share, we would love to hear them.

i think these are real i live a few house up from this place and i get cold shivers and my eyes start to water a random times. i think this is 100% real. picton is one of the oldst topwns in aus and the most haunteed town in australia.

I’m no photo expert, but there are obvious flaws in the photo. Besides the already noted facft that everything in the photo is grainy, except for the children, there are other things.

1. Both children dressed in what appears to be white tee shirts and shorts. Not appropriate attire for the time frame in which they supposedly died.

2. Both children (if not the same child) appear to be totally bored, as if they were ordered by an adult to do something that they don’t want to do.

There’s no way I can believe this is a legitimate photo of the paranormal.

The photo shows very dark and grainy headstones with the children showing as crisp and bright.
This is the problem with Photoshop and other graphics programs. Manipulation of evidence is easily achieved and very convincing to anyone other than someone versed in photographic forensics.
I’d love to take the photographer’s word that no children were present, however I believe these children, fortunately are among the living.
