Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I joined PPS because I have a lot of lingering questions about some very personal experiences I had as a child. No one believed me about what I had seen. I have spent most of my adult life trying to get answers about what I had experienced. I found PPS on the WEB one day, while doing some research on local groups. Having grown up in the Pasadena area it was an immediate draw. After my first interview with Dave, Scott and Rex I knew that PPS was the group that would be the real deal.

What do you hope the group achieves?

I hope that we are able to answer questions that clients have. Hopefully we can bring some peace of mind, so people don’t feel alienated or alone. Lastly, I hope we are able to present evidence and theories that can help further the paranormal research field.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

I would like to answer at least one of those lingering questions I have. Also, I hope to help a lot of people to feel more comfortable, and understand the paranormal more.

I’ve worked in retail for 16 years and I’m currently a PC Tech by day and a cook by night. I’m currently applying to become a Big Brother. I really want to help steer the younger generation in a better path then i had growing up.

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I have always had an interest in things that are not easily understood or clear.  Starting with some very early experiences in life, I realized that I did not understand what I was experiencing and there were very few people I could speak to about those situations.  This in turn, lead me to want to find out more for myself and be around others in a similar situation.

Have you ever had a paranormal experience prior to your involvement with PPS?

Yes, I had had a few that related to the loss of a loved one and in another surrounding, but tend to keep these to myself.

What do you hope the group achieves?

I hope the group can help those with either existing paranormal activity or perceived paranormal experiences.  Finding out if certain experiences can be validated can help those understand more of what they are going through.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

I hope to achieve a better understanding of what the paranormal is as it relates to this life.

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I joined to help satisfy my thirst for knowledge of the unknown. To be able to explain that which we don’t know much about is a very big interest for me.

Have you ever had a paranormal experience prior to your involvement with PPS?

No.

What do you hope the group achieves?

I hope for never-ending success in helping our clients learn from their paranormal experiences and to better educate ourselves in what the paranormal truly is.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

To explain what goes on in the life after. Knowing what that part of life brings would be very interesting.

I’m working for my education degree. I hope to teach 3rd graders in the near future. I’m also a music collector and want a job dj-ing instead of working in the warehouse I work at now.

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

From a young age I developed an interest in the paranormal.  My family had moved into a community in Pasadena that previously was a an old pig farm for many  years.  The family had lost loved ones that also resided on the farm. The Duncan residence is actually built on the old farm house’ foundation. Since we moved in 18 years ago we have experience many different strange phenomenon. Also, as a young family our parents would take us to many different historic sites and towns such as Gettysburg, Williamsburg and St. Augustine.  On many occasions we would take the ghost tours or historic tours that would mention a lot about paranormal activity or legends of the areas.

I met my wife Crystal Duncan, also a member and she realized my interest in the paranormal field, she encouraged me to dig deeper into the paranormal.  Dave Schminke(Crystals uncle) and I were sitting on a cooler with a cold beer one July 4th discussing the paranormal. He had many great thoughts and opinions but the one thing that caught my attention was the he was a skeptic and I was not.  We discussed the option of starting a small group of paranormal minded people with various wants and needs that just wanted the opportunity to join a group. Because of my natural curiosity and personal experience, I wanted to research and be able to make sense out of some of my experiences as well as help others that are in need because they have become frightened from their own experience and simply want answers.

What do you hope the group achieves?

Pasadena Paranormal was formed as a group that would help families and individuals that didn’t understand what was happening in their homes or places of work.  We want to inform each client of our findings and what can possibly be done to make them more comfortable in their own surroundings. We want to provide as much knowledge as possible regarding their properties, homes and the paranormal activity.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

The personal achievement that I wanted to gain out of PPS was to have a better understanding of the unknown and the paranormal experiences that I had encountered in the past. The biggest achievement would be to have a customer feel comfortable and safe in their own surroundings and understand their situation.

Since the age of eight years old I have been very interested in Diabetes.  I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I enjoy researching and staying close with various research groups throughout the country in their search for a cure. Millions of Americans suffer from Diabetes, but for children, it can be very tough to deal with while growing up.  In the near future I am looking forward to meeting with young diabetics at various camps and clinics on the east coast to support them in their struggle with the disease and help them cope with the difficulties.

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I have always been a skeptic as long as I can remember from an early age hearing the “stories” my family told. I remained a skeptic until a few years ago moving into the house I currently live in. Some of the activity happening just could not be explained away. So through further investigation on my own and the help of PPS I have been converted to believer.

Have you ever had a paranormal experience prior to your involvement with PPS?

I have experienced many things at my current residence. So much so I have not wanted to move. I have experienced loud bangs, cabinets opening and slamming shut. Foot steps in the attic and throughout the house. I have heard voices and laughter from small children. I have seen shadows and balls of light that could not be explained. Felt my bed move many times. And yes I have been touched. This house has forever peaked my interest in this field and I hope I never have to leave it.

What do you hope the group achieves?

As a group I hope that we are able to help erase some of the misconceptions that paranormal groups or “ghost hunters” are only out there looking for thrills and that there is no science. That perhaps the paranormal field of science will be taken more seriously. I hope we are able to establish a reputation for being not only respectful of our clients, but helpful to our clients. That we create a community that helps and supports each other in our search.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

I do not believe that when we are gone we cease to exist. I feel as if we change or just move on to another realm.  I would like to be able to prove that theory and find answers through a scientific approach and gather evidence that can be taken on a serious professional level. It is the ultimate question to have answered. To have done it in this life time or to build enough interest for the next generation to keep searching will be a life long goal of mine.

Currently I work from home as sales support for Pella Windows and Doors.

Besides ghosts I am interested in: Painting, reading, camping, gardening, bird watching, hanging out with family and friends.

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I joined PPS because I have wanted to know the truth about the unexplainable. I believe there is a reason for everything in this world, a true and viable explanation. Whether or not it’s scientifically proven or divinely given, I want to find out. PPS was a group not in it for the thrills or the fame, they were in it for the truth as well.

Have you ever had a paranormal experience prior to your involvement with PPS?

No, I had not experienced anything outside the strange sense of Déjà vu or that occasional feeling of someone watching you, but knowing you’re alone.

What do you hope the group achieves?

As a group I hope that we are able to help erase some of the misconceptions that paranormal groups or “ghost hunters” are only out there looking for thrills and that there is no science. My personal goals within the group are to be able to bring new talents and different perspectives that allow for further growth and knowledge with in our team.

Besides ghosts I am interested in: Psychology, horseback riding, and art. My attempts at balancing the mind, body, and soul.

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I’ve always been fascinated with the paranormal and want answers. To also help those who feel they have “Hauntings” and find out why these spirits haven’t crossed.

A clear understanding of the paranormal and to help those in need of answers.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

The chance to broaden my knowledge of the paranormal and to know that I’ve helped put someone’s mind at ease regarding those who have passed.

I work for the County government as a Planning Technician  in the Research & GIS Division  reviewing all the residential and commercial development going on in Anne Arundel County. I Volunteer at a Wildlife Sanctuary in Davidsonville caring for orphaned and wild animals that may have been injured on found abandoned (17 yrs..)

Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?

I joined PPS because I wanted to learn more about the investigation side of things and I wanted to be part of a team with similar interests in the paranormal.  I have had many experiences in the past and was curious to see if I could catch something paranormal and also to help others that are experiencing something strange, to either find explanations for them or proof.

Have you ever had a paranormal experience prior to your involvement with PPS?

Yes, after my father -in-law passed away I had 3 separate occasions when I “saw” him.  The first time it happened I was in my kitchen, cleaning out my cabinets; I had stuff stacked on the countertop and out of the corner of my eye I saw a stack of tupperware bowls start to fall and before I could move I saw my father-in-law reach over and push them back so they wouldn’t fall and as I turned my head to look where he would have been standing….no-one was there.  I was home alone when this happened.  He visited me twice more.  I have also had several other paranormal experiences.

What do you hope the group achieves?

I would like for our group to be able to catch something definite on audio or video. That would just be awesome!  I hope that with each and every investigation we do that we can help someone to find answers and/or peace in their home or work place.

What do you hope to achieve for yourself?

For myself, I love the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team of people and to learn so much about the investigative process.  Helping others is such a great part of what we get to do. And most of all I want to make contact or catch a voice on audio or just find a simple explanation for some experiences someone has.

I am an office manager, I am also a licensed Real Estate Agent and Personal Assistant, I also have a couple of other hats that I wear as well. My other interests include my family and spending as much time with them as I can, we have weekly game night which is always a lot of fun.  I love gardening and reading is very high on my list of fun things to do.  I really enjoy making things with my hands like sewing, candle making, floral arranging, working with herbs.  I used to dance competitively and taught dance for a long time, now I do Tai Chi several times a week.  When I was going to school for Massage Therapy I discovered meditation, I meditate frequently and sometimes have group meditations at my home. I have become pretty good at pool and enjoy playing with our friends as family. My list of interests could be a long one so I will end it here!  : )
