Why did you join Pasadena Paranormal?
From a young age I developed an interest in the paranormal. My family had moved into a community in Pasadena that previously was a an old pig farm for many years. The family had lost loved ones that also resided on the farm. The Duncan residence is actually built on the old farm house’ foundation. Since we moved in 18 years ago we have experience many different strange phenomenon. Also, as a young family our parents would take us to many different historic sites and towns such as Gettysburg, Williamsburg and St. Augustine. On many occasions we would take the ghost tours or historic tours that would mention a lot about paranormal activity or legends of the areas.
I met my wife Crystal Duncan, also a member and she realized my interest in the paranormal field, she encouraged me to dig deeper into the paranormal. Dave Schminke(Crystals uncle) and I were sitting on a cooler with a cold beer one July 4th discussing the paranormal. He had many great thoughts and opinions but the one thing that caught my attention was the he was a skeptic and I was not. We discussed the option of starting a small group of paranormal minded people with various wants and needs that just wanted the opportunity to join a group. Because of my natural curiosity and personal experience, I wanted to research and be able to make sense out of some of my experiences as well as help others that are in need because they have become frightened from their own experience and simply want answers.
What do you hope the group achieves?
Pasadena Paranormal was formed as a group that would help families and individuals that didn’t understand what was happening in their homes or places of work. We want to inform each client of our findings and what can possibly be done to make them more comfortable in their own surroundings. We want to provide as much knowledge as possible regarding their properties, homes and the paranormal activity.
What do you hope to achieve for yourself?
The personal achievement that I wanted to gain out of PPS was to have a better understanding of the unknown and the paranormal experiences that I had encountered in the past. The biggest achievement would be to have a customer feel comfortable and safe in their own surroundings and understand their situation.
Other biographical information:
Since the age of eight years old I have been very interested in Diabetes. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. I enjoy researching and staying close with various research groups throughout the country in their search for a cure. Millions of Americans suffer from Diabetes, but for children, it can be very tough to deal with while growing up. In the near future I am looking forward to meeting with young diabetics at various camps and clinics on the east coast to support them in their struggle with the disease and help them cope with the difficulties.
